Severe weather is setting up for areas along and east of I-35 with the threat for tornadoes.

High risk of severe weather in the outlined area this afternoon/evening. Tornadoes, damaging winds and large hail will be likely.

As the dry line and cold front moves into Central Texas there will be a risk for severe storms. The risk will include very large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes.

There is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms starting by mid afternoon close to the I-20 and expanding south by late afternoon. As a front stall across Central Texas there will be the chance for some strong to severe storms this afternoon/evening. There could be a few isolated storms west of I-35 with better chances to the east of I-35. Main threats will be from large hail and damaging winds.
