A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for central/eastern Texas and western/northern Louisiana until 2:00 pm. Primary threats include large hail up to 2 inches in diameter and damaging wind gust to 70 mph possible.

A Tornado Watch has been issues for central/northeast Texas, southeast Oklahoma and southwest Arkansas until 9:00 pm. Primary threats include several tornadoes possible, numerous large hail events with hail size up to 2.5 inches in diameter along with damaging wind gust to 70 mph likely. Vortex Chasers will be out chasing in Central Texas today.
