The Storm Prediction Center has issued a tornado watch for portions of central and eastern Oklahoma and northern and central Texas until 8:00pm. Primary threats include several tornadoes likely, scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph, and isolated large hail up to 1.5″.

Isolated severe weather will be possible on Thursday as a shortwave trough moves into the region. Threats will include damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes will be possible across parts of southern Oklahoma, SW Arkansas and central Texas.
