Midwest Severe Weather Outbreak Today.

The Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a major severe weather outbreak today for the Midwest.

Numerous tornado watches and warnings including a Particularly Dangerous Situation tornado watch.

The National Weather Service Damage Survey Team reported that the Tornado that passed near the town of Rice, Texas on October 24, 2010, has been rated a strong EF-2. For more information about the survey click here.

Final Chance of Severe WX

A dry line and upper level disturbance will be the focal point for a slight chance of severe weather along and east of I-35 this afternoon. Today the risk will be from large hail and damaging winds but can not rule out an isolated tornado.
