Vortex Chasers will be attending the National Weather Festival in Norman Oklahoma this Saturday. The Storm Prediction Center is forecasting a major severe weather outbreak today for the Midwest. Numerous tornado watches and warnings including a Particularly Dangerous Situation tornado watch.

The National Weather Service Damage Survey Team reported that the Tornado that passed near the town of Rice, Texas on October 24, 2010, has been rated a strong EF-2. For more information about the survey click here.
