Enhanced risk for severe weather continues through this weekend for central and southern parts of the U.S. Numerous storms are expected today across central and southern Texas with scattered severe weather possible. Main threats will be from large hail and damaging winds with a risk of a tornado or two possible.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for portions of west central Arkansas, southern Oklahoma and eastern Texas Panhandle until 10:00 PM. Primary threats include large hail with isolated large hail events to 3″ in diameter possible and scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible.
