A new tornado watch has been issued to include most of Central Texas until 11:00a.m. CST Wednesday, 01/25/12.

Counties highlighted in red are under a tornado watch until 5:00a.m. CST and counties highlighted in blue are
under a flash flood watch through 12:00p.m. CST on Wednesday.

Expect showers and thunderstorms to become more numerous overnight tonight through Wednesday with heavy rainfall. There will be a risk for storms to become strong to severe overnight across the southern half of Texas with damaging winds, large hail and could not rule out an isolated tornado threat.

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) Tornado Watch until midnight CST for portions of eastern Arkansas, Missouri Bootheel, northwest Mississippi and western Tennessee.
