Severe Weather Awareness Week

With spring just around the corner, it is that time of year to start thinking about severe weather.  Severe Weather Awareness Week in Texas is from February 20-26.  If you haven’t already developed a severe weather preparedness plan, here is a link to help get you started.  Later this week we have the possibility to see some severe weather as an upper air disturbance moves closer to the region.  The image below shows the severe weather risk area from the Storm Prediction Center for Thursday.
