Starting late tonight scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across central Texas, but most of this activity should stay below severe limits through most of Wednesday. Late Wednesday night through Thursday morning we are expecting a line of strong to severe storms to move across the area. The main severe weather threats will be from damaging winds and hail to the size of golf ball are possible in the stronger storms. As this system moves east the severe weather threat will increase through the afternoon hours on Thursday for east/southeast Texas, Louisiana and the southern half of Mississippi. The severe weather threats Thursday afternoon will include damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes are possible.
