There will be a chance for scattered thunderstorms late Sunday evening in Central Texas as a strong storm system moves across the Central Plains. Some storms could become strong to severe with the main threats being hail and damaging winds.

There is a moderate risk of severe storms including tornadoes in the Upper Midwest on Sunday. The risk for severe weather extends as far south as Central Texas.
