Tornado Watch for SE TX…LA…W MS…SE AR

The Storm Prediction Center issued a Tornado Watch for southeastern Texas most of Louisiana western Mississippi and southeastern Arkansas. Isolated strong to severe storms are developing this afternoon as daytime heating and moisture advection destabilize the air mass.

Remark: 3 homes destroyed near 705 gum springs road just northwest of Atlanta, LA. preliminary damage path about 100 yards wide. numerous trees snapped off about 15 feet off the ground.
