Severe Thunderstorm Watch

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 2:00 AM for portions of northeast Texas. Hail to 2 inches in diameter…thunderstorm wind gust to 70 MPH and dangerous lightning are possible in these areas.
Isolated Storms Possible

As temperatures rise in the lower 100’s today we could see a few isolated storms in central and east Texas this afternoon/evening. If you have any outdoor plans keep in mind these storms will be capable of producing damaging downburst winds and lightning. Storm should dissipate after sunset tonight.

Storm Damage across Bell County

There are multiple reports across Bell County of damage from a possible micoburst from the recent storms today. Be careful if you are driving this evening as multiple trees and limbs are down in roadways. Pictures are courtesy of Joel Neil of Belton.
